Washington D.C. Photos

During our weekend in Washington D.C., Robert and I did the tourist thing of course and went to visit the National Mall and Smithsonian. We had a blast and took a few pictures along the way. Today I thought I would share them with you all – Enjoy!

  1. So pretty! I love visiting all of the museums in DC. A couple of my friends and I went there over Easter break 2 years ago and had so much fun!

  3. Looks like you two had fun in D.C.!
    I love museums, I could spend forever in them! Of all the D.C. monuments, the Jefferson Memorial is my favorite architecturally, but the WWII memorial is so beautiful and well done.

    1. It was so fun! :0) WWII memorial is my favorite. It's beautiful, but I definitely got emotional walking through it!

    2. Speaking of memorials, I was talking to a gentleman the other day who served in Vietnam (got injured pretty bad) and every year he goes back to the wall. I had to resist the urge to just hug him, so instead I told him a heartfelt thank you, but wow, what a great guy!

  6. I LOVE museums. Last time I went to DC I had to take my class of 8th graders so it wasn't very relaxing..lol. I hope to go back this summer!

  7. Great pictures! I am a huge nerd and I LOVE visiting museums! I didn't get to spend a lot of time in the museums in DC, and I can't wait to go back - my first stop will be Air and Space!

  9. Great photos! I love museums so much probably because I am a history major! I can't help it but everytime I see pics of a Natural History museum I think of that movie "Night at the Museum"! :-)

  10. Rexy!! Haha - I love those movies :) Last time we were in DC it was hot and miserable, so we'll have to venture back there when my daughter is a little older. I love how your hubby looks so serious in his photos :)
