Let It Go (Frozen) Acoustic Cover

Music runs in my family, and it has always been a big part of my life. I have been a singer since I was a child, but I have also dabbled in learning the piano, flute, and even the violin. While I don’t play instruments anymore, I still love to sing, and my brother is a guitar guru! He is self-taught and very talented!

We both also love the movie Frozen, especially the song ‘Let it Go.’ This past weekend we decided to record a video of us playing an acoustic cover of this song – me on vocals, and him on guitar. I truly hope you enjoy it because we had a lot of fun singing/playing it!

If you can’t view the video in my post, you can click HERE for the link on YouTube.

QOTD: Do you sing or play any instruments?

  1. I. LOVE. THIS. First of all, you have a BEAUTIFUL voice, and I never would have thought "Let it Go" would sound so good performed acoustically! AWESOME! Thanks for sharing! :)

After taking piano lessons for 10 years, I started teaching private lessons in college and I've been doing it on the side ever since! But I can't sing to save my life. Haha. :)

    1. Thanks Jennifer!! That is so cool you are a piano teacher - if only we lived closer, we could do piano/singing covers of Disney songs! :0)

  5. Wow, you have a beautiful voice, but I have to admit that I am one of the people in the USA that despises that song...lol. Probably because everywhere I go it is playing. But enjoyed listening to you. That was a great treat indeed. :)

    1. Thanks Maria! Yeah, not every song is for everyone, it would be hard to write a song that appealed to the entire world!

  6. Lauren that was awesome! That's a really hard song to sing. I sang growing up and also played clarinet and piano. Don't ask me to do any of it though. Maybe I can still carry a tune in the car :-) so cute you are performing with your brother!

    1. Thanks Michele!! :0) I am so glad you enjoyed it! That is awesome you are a singer too! Are you an alto or soprano?

    2. Soprano. Or at least I was a soprano. The vocal chords are like any muscle - if you don't use them they don't work as well!

    3. Awesome! I was a soprano too!
