2014 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend Registration

Today, January 28th, at noon EST, registration officially opens for the 2014 Disneyland Half Marathon weekend events. These races will be taking place August 29-31, 2014 (Labor Day weekend).

There is a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and the Dumbo Double Dare Challenge (when you do the 10K and the half marathon in the same weekend). Last year these races sold out in just over 24 hours, so if you are even considering running any of these races, sign up as soon as possible! Last year was the inaugural year for the Dumbo Double Dare, so it is possible that it may not sell out as quickly, but I really would not risk it. Disneyland races are popular, and not usually as large as the races at Walt Disney World.

  1. I always want to run this race but it is always the same weekend as RnR VA Beach and since VA Beach is MUCH closer, it always wins out! But that's ok as this race is one of my favorites! Wowsers, I can't believe how much the Pasta in the Parks ticket is ( even without a park ticket). Last year we paid $49 and this year $53. What a hike in price!

    1. Fair enough! Local races are definitely much easier to do! Yeah, Disney sure isn't afraid to raise their prices each year. If I remember correctly, the Expedition Everest 5K price went up pretty significantly this year too!

    1. So exciting!! Actually I will be doing Wine & Dine in November, then Dopey in January, so DDD will have to wait until 2015 or 2016!

    1. I am not doing this race this year either - since I did Tink the other week, and doing Wine & Dine later this year, I'm saving this race weekend for 2015 or 2016!

  6. I would love to run the DL half, but I really don't like training during the hottest months of the year!
