Weekly Recap 9/23 – 9/29

Happy Monday all! We have finally reached the final week before the Tower of Terror 10-Miler AND Robert and mine’s first time attending Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! Our costumes are complete for both events, which I will share pictures of on Wednesday!

This past week was much better for training; I felt stronger than the previous week, as my mind was not quite as distracted. This upcoming week is taper time, so my plan is to do about 3 miles each today and Wednesday, with strength training on Tuesday and possibly Thursday. After that, it’s all about the runDisney fun!

My workouts this week:

Monday: Jillian Michael’s Six Week Six-Pack (35 minutes)

Tuesday: 4 x (1200 meters fast pace + 400 meters walk)

1200 meters pace = 8:45 min/mile
400 meters pace = comfortable walk

Wednesday: Jillian Michael’s Killer Buns & Thighs (40 minutes)

Thursday: 4 Mile Maintenance Run (Pace: 10:30 min/mile)

Friday: Rest Day/Stretch

Saturday: 5 Mile Long Run (Pace: 10:30 min/mile)

Sunday: Upper Body & Core (40 minutes)
