Weekly Recap 9/2 – 9/8

Hey everyone, hope y’all had a great weekend! It was fun here, especially since football is back, and with that, the fall season soon begins! Texas may not get the cool fall weather for awhile, but we’re closer than we were at least.

Oh, and we are officially less than 4 weeks away from the Tower of Terror 10-Miler weekend at Disney World, which means waivers and bib numbers should be out this week! SO EXCITED!

Robert had his first 10K on Saturday morning. So far he has only done a couple of fun 5K’s with me, so I was so excited to go cheer him on this weekend! He finished with a chip time of 1:15:16; I am so proud of him, especially with the heat and humidity running high that morning! Here are some photos:



My workouts this week:

Monday: Travel day – drove back to Houston from Dallas

Tuesday: 2.5 Tempo Run (Pace: 9 min/mile)

Wednesday: Jillian Michael’s Killer Buns & Thighs (40 minutes)

Thursday: 5 Mile Maintenance Run (Pace: 10:30 min/mile)

Friday: Rest Day/Stretch

Saturday: Cheered Robert on at his 10K, then came home and ran 7 miles (Pace: 10:30 min/mile)

Sunday: Upper body strength training with some core exercises as well (30 minutes)
