Racing Bibs

With racing season quickly approaching, race bibs will soon start piling around the house. I don’t know about you, but right now, all of mine are filed away in my nightstand drawer. However, instead of filing or throwing them away never to be seen again, I thought I would share with you some fun and unique ways to preserve these memoirs. Women’s Running Magazine posted an article earlier this week featuring some great ways to show off your race bibs.

Even though I have not done anything with my own race bibs yet, I’m leaning towards the Race Day Book! I just think it’s such a great idea!

Also, just want to let you all know that I will be taking a blogging hiatus next week, but my posting schedule will return to normal on Labor Day. Talk to you then!

To all of you running during the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend next week, I hope you do great and have a blast! I can’t wait to see pictures and read everyone’s recaps!

QOTD: Which race bib idea is your favorite? Have you already done something creative with your bibs?

  1. The coaster idea has always been a favorite of mine but I have been hesitant to try it for fear that I will goof it up and end up with 4 pieces of a soggy race bib that didn't quite adhere to the tiles!

    1. That would definitely not be good! Could always outsource that crafty stuff though, or even use a piece of paper as a practice coaster :)

  2. I frame my bibs and hang them up at work. The medals I keep at home.

  3. I'm thinking about getting or making something similar to the book. My bibs are just sitting in a box right now. :/
Enjoy your hiatus, you will be missed! But we'll see you next week! :)

    1. If you make a book, you should definitely post about it or even sell it on Etsy. Your creations are so cute :)

  4. I love the Race Day Books. Right now I just have all mine hanging. It would be nice to put them somewhere where they couldn't get damaged.

    Great idea!!

    1. Exactly! I don't want mine to get damaged either. I know we get the medals, but I always keep the bibs too as an extra memento :)

  5. I love the Race Day Books - what a great idea! I hang my bibs up at my office so that when I'm not looking forward to a late afternoon/evening run, I see them hanging there and remember what it's all about! Happy running! :)
