Weekly Recap 7/8 – 7/14

Happy Sunday! I apologize for the lack of posting on Friday. To be perfectly honest, this week has been exhausting and Thursday night I fell asleep and completely forgot about doing my blog for the next day.

Monday and Tuesday I was sick (sinus problems are no fun), but on a great note, Robert and I are officially registered for the 2014 Tinker Bell Half Marathon! I still cannot believe it sold out in less than TWO days! So, all in all, it has really been a great week even though I missed my first couple workouts.

My workouts this week:

Monday: Sick/Rest Day

Tuesday: Sick/Rest Day

Wednesday: 4 x (800 meters fast pace + 400 meters walk)

800 meters pace = 8:45 min/mile
400 meters pace = comfortable walk

Thursday: Jillian Michael’s Six-Week 6-Pack (35 minutes)

Friday: Rest Day

Saturday: 6 Mile Long Run on the treadmill (Pace: 10:30 min/mile)

Sunday: Walk at the Park & 8 Mile Bike Ride

    When I get sick, all my workout plans go out the window. If I get sick, I tend to get a cough or some sort of respiratory illness and I've tried to run through it, but it just doesn't work. Haha.

    1. Yeah I have tried in the past too, and it is SO hard to get your breathing to not sound like you're dying lol!
