Weekly Recap 7/22 – 7/28

Hey everyone! Sorry I didn’t post yesterday; I had a busy and fun weekend with family and friends. You know how it goes! So, since I did not do my recap yesterday, I will take care of that today.

This past week was post-triathlon of course, so I tried not to overdo my workouts, but starting today, it’s back to business and my goal is to do more strength training!

Also, I know it’s not running related, but I saw the movie ‘Pitch Perfect’ on Saturday, and I HIGHLY recommend it! It’s absolutely hysterical!

My workouts this week:

Monday: Rest Day/Stretch

Tuesday: 4 x (800 meters fast pace + 400 meters walk)

800 meters pace = 8:45 min/mile
400 meters pace = comfortable walk

Wednesday: Rest Day/Stretch

Thursday: 4 Mile Maintenance Run (Pace: 10:20 min/mile)

Friday: Rest Day/Stretch

Saturday: 6 Mile Long Run on the treadmill (Pace: 11 min/mile)

Sunday: Walk at the Park

      Training wasn't too bad (I REALLY need to stop being lazy when it comes to strength training though)!
