Planning for Tower of Terror

A few days ago, I received my first runDisney email for the Tower of Terror 10-Miler. I am so excited! Yes, we are still about 15 weeks away from the race, but what can I say? I enjoy celebrating the little things in life!

Robert and I also ordered our tickets for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (for Friday, October 4th)! This is the first time for both of us to be at Disney World around Halloween time and we are SO excited; we have heard great things about this event. I must admit I’m really looking forward to the Hallo-wishes show, trick-or-treating (I am a choc-o-holic), the Boo to You Parade, and dressing up!

QOTD: Have you ever attended Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party? Would you want to?

    2. It's not of the whole Party, but my favorite part is the parade, which you can find here: http://arunnershenanigans.blogspot.com/2012/10/boo-to-you.html

  3. Have never been to MNSSHP but have to Mickey's very Merry Christmas party! I'll have to put the Halloween party of my list of things to do! Was actually considering running the Trail 5K that goes along with the TOT race that weekend. Have you done the Trail 5K?

    1. MVMCP is on my bucket list - we plan on doing that when we go for the Wine & Dine Half Marathon next year!

I haven't done the Trail 5K but I want to. The only thing is I plan on being out late for MNSSHP Friday night so I'm not sure I want to wake up early Saturday to run it lol!

  4. Yes! I attended MNSSHP last year. It was a blast! Of course, I'll take any opportunity to dress up in a ridiculous costume, but the parade and shows are AWESOME. The trick-or-treating got to be a bit much with the lines, but we seemed to have chosen a particularly crowded evening to attend. You'll love it! I'm thinking I may do TOT next year... :-D

  5. LOVE LOVE LOVE MNSSHP!!!! We've been twice and loved it both times! Tip: wait until a little later to go to most of the candy stations (end of the night)...they do NOT run out and at the end of the night the lines are short and they give HANDFULS of candy! Oh and in case you didn't know, you can get into the park at 4pm for the party (even though it does not start until 7pm)
