Weekly Recap 5/20 – 5/26

Happy weekend all! It appears that last week I jinxed myself saying I was going to wake up early for my long run this Saturday. Turns out I am sick and have back pain too.To be honest, I am a little worried because I did not get my last long run in before the Wounded Warrior Half Marathon, but I am still confident I will be able to run it and PR!

My workouts this week:

Monday: Jillian Michaels Killer Buns & Thighs (40 minutes)

Tuesday: 3 Mile Tempo Run (Pace: 9 min/mile)

Wednesday: Jillian Michaels 6-Week Six-Pack (35 minutes) Sick

Thursday: 4 mile maintenance run (Pace: 10:30 min/mile)


Friday: Rest Day/Stretch

Saturday: 12 mile long run Sick

  1. I'm sorry you are sick Lauren! I normally don't run when sick, but recently I had a sore throat and was a bit congested and I ran and it actually made me feel better and I ran better! I'm sure it won't always be that way, just depends on the sickness.

    1. So true! Depending on what I have I will still go out on an easy run, but this time, workouts seem to make me feel even worse! I think I'm gonna try to run tonight though.

  2. I hope you get better soon! I try to take it easy, especially if it's a head cold. With the pace you've been training at, you'll have a huge PR! Can't wait to read about it. :)
